Catherine or as most people call her Cat is a Hunter Valley/Newcastle-based event planner and venue coordinator who is passionate about creating memorable events for her clients and exceeding their expectations time and time again. She takes pride in offering a professional and friendly approach to her events. She brings fifteen-plus years of experience across the Hospitality, Events, and Tourism Industries together with the goal of helping others on their event planning journey.

Currently, she oversees the Conference and Events Department for Wallsend Diggers and Wallsend Diggers Sports Club alongside the wonderful Ashley.

When she is not planning and coordinating events for the club then you will usually find Cat spending time with her family and their dogs Banjo the Border Collie and Louie The Black German Shepherd. Add in a couple of breakfast and coffee dates with her closest friends and that is a typical week!

Growing up, Cat always loved to talk, meet new people, and be creative. An opportunity to help a friend with a marketing assignment set the course for what would become an exciting journey into a career in events that would last the next 15 years and counting.
